Aziz Barabankvi is one of greatest shayars of Barabanki .Although he was not highly educated and did not read books related to urdu adab and shayari, he was a natural shayar. He started his poetic carrier since 1947. He was a very simple and honest man. He became follower of “Afqar Mohani” and took Islaah from him. Due to limited communication during his times, he limited himself to Mushayras only in nearby areas of Lucknow and Kanpur. Throughout his life he had lot of fans and Shaagirds.
His collections of poems are “Kaif-e-Ghazal” and “Faran ki Bulandi”
