Samsung Galaxy A15 joins the Geekbench listing:

In the first quarter of 2024, Samsung shall launch at least two A 15 models. The good news is that the phone has passed the Geekbench test. This confirms that the phone shall have a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The chipset resembles Helio G99 in configuration giving the phone 5G connectivity advantage. It also has the MALI-G57 GPU as Helio G99. The company intends to use the same chipset for Samsung 5G models in the A15 series. Moreover, it will continue with it for its LTE variants too. This is an upgrade from the Galaxy 14 phones. A 14 had two versions having 4G and 5G connectivity. It seems like A 15 will have more variants than A 14.

 Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, bearing the model number SM-A156B scored 664 single-core points, and 1717 multi-core test points. The phone runs on one processor and 8 cores. It has a base frequency of 2.00 GHz. 6 cores have a frequency of 2.00 GHz while 2 cores have 2.20 GHz. It also has 4GB RAM, running on Android 14. However, it will also be available with up to 8GB RAM. Chances are great that the phone will have One UI 6 update.

Geekbench is a common benchmark people use to test a device’s compute performance. Be it a mobile phone, laptop, or tablet, the Geekbench processor benchmark program runs some tests and measures the time taken to complete those tests. The quicker the CPU processes those tasks, the higher the score. Hence mobile phones aim to achieve a higher score through fast and efficient processors. A 15 Samsung phone recently took the Geekbench test which confirmed that the new phone will have an upgraded processor for fast speed download.

One thing that bothers people the most about Samsung phones is the battery. However, this phone will have a 5000 mAh battery which is sufficient to run the whole day without discharging the phone. This is a major development leaving the Samsung fans ecstatic. While the Samsung A15 price is not known, the phone will certainly be mid-range as with other A series phones.
