Senior Node.JS Developer

This is a WFH position. Timings are 7pm - 430 am (Pakistan Standard Time).

Plego is on the lookout for highly capable multiple Senior Node.js Developers (Remote) to collaborate with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

To ensure success as a Node.js developer, you should possess extensive knowledge of Node.js based services and experience in a similar role. An accomplished Node.js developer will be someone whose expertise results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of data between servers and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Good understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and type safety.
  2. Deep and conceptual understanding of Node.js, JavaScript, Typescript, Express.js, RESTful APIs, SSL/TLS, TCP Sockets, and Swagger.
  3. Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
  4. Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  5. Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
  6. Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
  7. Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
  8. Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
  9. Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
  10. Working experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB
  11. Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
  12. Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
  13. Implementation of security and data protection
  14. Writing secure API End Points for front End Applications
  15. Advanced understanding of web architecture and database fundamentals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Prior experience in Node.js 
  • Strong knowledge of Next.js, E-commerce tools, Contentful, API payment and AWS Lambda is nice to have
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Must be fluent in English communication

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify potential leads through various digital lead generation tools and platforms.
  2. Develop and execute outreach strategies via email and social media to connect with and engage potential clients.
  3. Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and manage lead data in our CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, lead generation, or a related field, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive messages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen interest in technology and digital solutions, with a desire to stay informed about industry trends and innovations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
