Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  1. Developing customer and business proposition (strategy) and ensuring its executed through the most efficient delivery network.
  2. Developing and jointly executing a calendar of marketing and sales programs/campaigns as well as appropriate sales collateral.
  3. Promoting Cross-marketing & ensuring business development on a consistent basis and to promote Retail Banking products.
  4. Ensuring meticulous compliance of SBP guidelines / internal policies / procedures and to ensure compliance to the sales process.
  5. Handling customer complaints or issue and respond promptly and spontaneously with the highest level of customer satisfaction being maintained.
  6. Ensuring that branches sales staff have accurate knowledge of all products and the marketing of products properly to potential clients.
  7. Meeting prospective / existing / valued/institutional/corporate clients for business and networking & improve professionalism, organizational commitment and team spirit to maximize output.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a HEC-recognized Local/ Foreign University. Preference will be given to Master's Degree holders. 

Experience: Minimum 07 Years of Banking experience.

Age: Up to 55 Years as of June 28, 2024.

Branch Services Officer

Faysal Bank Limited
  1. To handle and execute the set of financial/non-financial transactions (i.e. Cash Deposits/Withdrawals, Local/Foreign Remittances, Utility Bills, Outward Clearing, Cash Sorting, Payment Orders, Fund Transfers etc.) in the assigned Branch, in line with the Bank’s/SBP’s Regulations and established Turn Around Times, in order to provide financial solutions to the Bank’s customers.
  2. To ensure proper execution and preparation of vouchers regarding the daily operational activities of the Branch, whilst ensuring compliance with Bank/SBP Regulations.
  3. To ensure proper preparation of reports, logs and registers on all operational activities, i.e., Cheque Book Issuance/ Issuance of local/Foreign remittances/Locker Room records/etc.
  4. To ensure closure of the Cash Counter at ATM at day-end with complete reconciliation with the cash balances in the core-banking system, and balancing of the physical cash inventory in the vault and ATM.
  5. To ensure proper storage/handling and balancing of cash and security stationary in the Branch Vault.
  6. To provide customers with effective and efficient support in meeting their transactional needs, with a focus on transaction accuracy, and low Turn Around Time.
  7. To resolve outstanding issues/lapses in daily operational activities, in coordination with the Sr. BSO/Branch Service Manager.
  8. To maintain effective and regular interaction with centralized operations departments to resolve any transactional issues and ensure efficient processing of customer transactions.
  9. To ensure familiarity and compliance with any changes in regulatory requirements through regular review of Bank and SBP’s Circulars/Notifications.
  10. To execute the Branch Vault/Cash Counter transactions as required by internal audit/SBP inspection teams.
  11. To ensure screening/verification of customers identity and entering correct details of customers in system at the time of executing transactions.
  12. To handle the physical movement of cash from/to the Branch Vault, in coordination with the Bank’s approved security companies.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Bank/SBP Regulations regarding Cash Operations/Remittances/Clearing/Lockers.
  • Strong ability and knowledge on how to process transactions of multiple categories, i.e., Cash Withdrawals/Deposits, Remittances/Cheque Book Issuance Clearing/Lockers.
  • Strong ability to carry out transactions without performing errors/regulatory lapses.
  • Strong ability to work on computer systems/applications at an efficient pace/TAT.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Head of Marketing & Communications (HOD), the Communications Manager will lead the execution of PSW’s communications operational plan, support the communications department to develop and deliver on the objectives and operational work plans of the department. The Communications Manager oversees financial and human resources to deliver the department’s objectives.

In this position, you will oversee producing high-quality content that engages customers, builds brand recognition, and promotes PSW’s services. The Communication Manager will be responsible for all internal and external communications with strategic direction from the HOD. The duties will also include managing external and internal communication, social media, PSW’s website and digital channels, media relations, content development, planning and executing campaigns and promoting PSW’s brand and services.

Communication Planning & Operations:

  1. Support and supervise the implementation of the communication operational plan and communications strategy, stakeholder engagement plan, and information dissemination mechanisms for PSW including information on objectives, audiences, messages, resources, timescales, tools, and activities.
  2. Implementation of the department operational plan aligned with the Communications Policy. Create, implement, and oversee communications programs, internal and external, that effectively describe and promote PSW and its services.
  3. Implementation of the CSR operational plan aligned with the CSR Policy. Successful and timely implementation of all activities reflected in the CSR operational plan.
  4. Creation and implementation of monthly operational plans for all Communications: media & PR, social media, paid advertising, content and design, websites (PSW & Tradeverse) and digital channels, events & campaigns.
  5. Creation and implementation of SOPs for all internal and external communications and branding. Ensuring that the correct protocols are followed for all communications internally and externally.

Team Management:

  • Leads, mentors, motivates and provides clear direction to the Communications team.
  • Oversees development of team and individual work plans, line manages, and conducts performance evaluations for all team members.
  • Oversees hiring and on-boarding of new Communications Department staff.
  • Fosters a positive team environment and provides team building and professional development initiatives.
  • Provides leadership and advocates on key issues related to the communications strategy.
  • Liaises with other departments to promote linkages between them and our stakeholders through campaigns and communications initiatives.
  • Oversees and supports staff to manage communication project budgets, including leading annual team departmental budgeting processes, monitoring disbursements of project funds and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting on all initiatives.

Communications Strategy and Brand Management:

  1. Ensures the execution of PSW’s overarching Communications Strategy, including media and social media, content, and storytelling.
  2. Ensures delivery of dynamic content and compelling stories of PSW’s work and its impact.
  3. Supports team to deliver priority communications assets and products.
  4. Liaises with other departments to identify communications support needs and triage requests.
  5. Review key communication materials before publication for quality control and to ensure consistent messaging and tone.
  6. Serves as the point of contact for communications-related issues, ensuring the HOD is kept well informed, and issues are appropriately escalated.
  7. Supports the HOD and Senior Management Team with crisis communications when necessary.
  8.  Ensures all content is compliant with global accessibility standards and meets PSW branding guidelines.
  9. Develops monthly editorial calendars for communications content development. Organizes writing schedules to produce quality pieces that appeal to the target audience, attract relevant stakeholders and boost brand awareness.
  10. Helps design, develop, implement, and supervise communication and outreach/advocacy strategies, including media strategies and developing digital platforms (print, electronic, website, social, and other media).
