Location: Lahore

  1. Develop Acquiring Business Value Proposition.
  2. Cards Scheme Companies Management, Work closely with IT, Operations, CCG, RMG, DFRMU, DRU and other department will be involving in the acquiring setup or process for Acquiring
  3. Develop Product Program, Process Manuals, SLAs, collaterals, etc. for effective roll out of Acquiring business and ensuring smooth operation of business
  4. Manage P&L for Acquiring by analyzing the revenue and costs in details on a monthly basis to ensure that the assigned budget is met
  5. Working closely with the Head of Cards, responsible for developing Acquiring value proposition including pricing and commercial terms and defining the acquiring product strategy & roadmap
  6. Responsible for business target e.g. revenue, number of merchant, payment volume, etc.
  7. Responsible to setup and managing the Acquiring business distribution team
  8. Build scorecards and reporting mechanisms for acquiring products to understand merchant business portfolio and deriving insights through regular review and analyzing of reports and monitoring of product performance
  9. Develop relationship with card schemes (MasterCard / Visa / UnionPay / JCB/ PayPak, etc.)
  10. Develop innovative products & services that differentiate BOP from its competitors
  11. Write compelling business cases for new product development
  12. Constantly enhancing processes for better services of merchant team in handling new merchant on-boarding, merchant transactions, and merchant supports along with other related forms for merchants
  13. Gathering requirements from merchant inquiries and issues
  14. Handle customer complaints escalations and address and resolve them in an effective and quick manner
  15. Maintain an excellent knowledge of the Acquiring market including competitive analysis and ad hoc market research
  16. Monitoring chargeback and fraud volumes of merchant accounts and ensuring action plans are implemented in reducing risk from particular merchants
  17. Coordinate with Risk Management team on risk controls for Merchant Acquiring Business
  18. Coordinate with IT team during product enhancement in terms of acquiring host system and terminal applications
  19. Manage P&L for Acquiring Business to deliver targeted growth and attain revenue targets and costs
  20. Ensuring compliance of relevant regulatory requirements.
  21. Developing and motivating team and People management and mentoring of team members.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ Foreign University. Preference shall be given to Master Degree holders.
  • Age: Up to 55 Years as of June 27, 2024.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years of Banking/Non-Banking experience with 3 years in similar function.

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a HEC recognized / foreign university.
  • Experience: Minimum 07 years of banking experience in Regulatory framework and FX & MM.

Job Requirement:

This is a multi-faceted role where you will support the execution of PSW’s communications strategy and campaigns. Besides having a knack for content creation and branding, you will also provide support on communications initiatives by ensuring effective coordination and documentation across campaigns. The incumbent will ensure consistent branding and provide communications support pertaining to methods, materials and channels.

Responsibilities:

Content Development:

  1. Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print, on industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  2. Develop related high-quality content for multiple print and digital platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
  3. Follow an editorial calendar for communications content development, collaborating with other members of the communication team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  4. Proofread content for errors, inconsistencies and polishing existing content to improve readability
  5. Work with the Communications team to ensure high quality communication products – such success stories, photos, videos, annual reports, newsletters, blogs, etc.

Media Engagement:

  • Provide event coordination and support to the Deputy Communications Manager (invitations, venue/vendor liaison, on-site coordination, post-event report)
  • Support in design and coordination of media visits
  • Support media outreach activity
  • Any other work assigned by the Deputy Communications Manager

Coordination and Support:

  1. Support in developing and regularly updating the PSW website
  2. Coordinate with internal PSW departments to ensure high quality communication products – such as rollout updates, photos, annual reports, newsletters, blogs, videos etc.
  3. As required, support with the development and execution of special communications initiatives including PSW webinars and podcast
  4. Track and document sessions and campaign activities with record sheets, detailed notes, photos, videos & any other means deemed appropriate.
  5. Efficient and timely coordination with other departments (finance, procurement etc.) to ensure internal SOPs are followed to the letter and there are no delays/hindrances in the smooth working of the Marketing and Communications department

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Photoshop etc.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
