We are looking for a Database developer having hands on experience with database designing, Database programming, complex queries writing, performance and query optimization. He will work with other developers for optimizing DB Statements as necessary and establishing best practices.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining and developing new database objects (tables, packages, procedures, functions, views etc.) by following Database standards

1. write complex queries, refactor existing procedures, tuning and schema refinement
2. Develop and maintain database ER Modeling and data dictionaries
3. Understanding of existing and new business processes
4. Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
5. Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
6. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
7. Ensure data quality and integrity in databases
8. Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
9. Provide quick and quality work for critical production systems.
10. Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers/team members.

Skills:

• Development experience required in Oracle
• Strong SQL experience and Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Sound knowledge of performance optimization, indexing & Partitioning
• Experience in designing and maintenance of Database Modeling (ER-Win Data Modeler, Toad Data Modeler etc.)
• Strong knowledge of ORDBMS/RDBMS
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to organize and plan work independently
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Knowledge /experience in other relational databases will be a plus point
