Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, ensuring system health and performance.
2. Administer virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
3. Continuously monitor server and virtualization performance, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
4. Perform routine updates and apply security patches to maintain system integrity.
5. Configure and secure DNS, DHCP, and HTTP/HTTPS services, ensuring compliance with security policies.
6. Maintain and optimize Active Directory, including GPO creation, user authentication, and policy enforcement.
7. Create and update comprehensive system documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident logs. Generate performance and incident reports for management.
8. Work with the network team to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure projects.
9. Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery strategies for both physical and virtual environments.
10. Streamline IT operations by implementing best practices for server, storage, and virtualization management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2+ years experience.
• Proven experience in server administration, virtualization, and storage systems.
• Proven experience in virtualization platforms such as VMware vCenter, ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
