Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on federal and state laws/regulations, evaluating their applicability to the Company’s services and processes.
- Prepare detailed memoranda on a range of legal propositions, providing insights and recommendations.
- Vet and review various contracts applicable in both US and Pakistan jurisdictions.
- Assist in handling legal matters referred from HR and Admin Departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate effectively with senior members of the Legal Department in the US and Pakistan.
- Assist senior counsel in the effective prosecution of litigation matters in both the US and Pakistan.
- Prepare policies aligning with controlling laws/regulations.
Requirements:
- Possess a Law degree.
- Knowledge of US laws, legal frameworks, rules, and regulations.
- Demonstrate exceptional research skills, especially in legal online databases.
- Comfortable working in late evening to midnight shifts.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present complex legal concepts in both written and verbal communication.
