We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lahore. This role is focused on providing accounting services for our Canada-based practice, excellent communication skills in English, and an understanding of International accounting standards and practices.
Educational Requirements:
- Must be B Com qualified
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) is essential.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a UK-based firm.
- Leadership experience, having managed teams or projects.
Technical Skills:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in Quickbooks.
- Expertise in financial reporting and tax planning. Strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with Canada-based clients.
- High level of adaptability to work with international standards and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the Lahore office’s accounting functions.
- Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and financial regulations.
- Collaborating closely with the Canada head office to maintain consistency in practices.
- Developing financial strategies and policies that align with the firm’s objectives.
- Playing a key role in the expansion and growth of the Lahore office.
Other Qualifications:
- Understanding of cross-border financial transactions and currency exchange implications.
- Ability to stay abreast of changes in international financial regulations.
- Willingness to coordinate with the Canada office as required.
