Grade: OG-I/AVP-I

Location: Lahore

Job Responsibilities:

1. Administration of SIEM solution and other SOC tools.
2. Perform threat management, and threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring, and manage Incident response with all required tools and defined roles
3. Mentor and guide the SOC team and perform knowledge transfer to other teams as required
4. Integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM
5. Evaluate existing SIEM rules, filters, events, and use cases and adapt to meet the business requirements
6. Build and manage playbooks in order to document how to respond, set severity, and how to escalate specific threat types
7. Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to Head ISD and ITD
8. Co-ordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them
9. Coordinate, work with, and liaise with business stakeholders, technical resources, and third-party vendors
10. Provide oversight of analysis activities and direct the activities of the team to ensure the effective resolution
11. Contribute to the development of Attack Analysis SOPs to ensure that they stay current and effective.
12. Correlate network activity across networks to identify trends of unauthorized use
13. Review alerts and data from sensors and documents formal, technical incident reports
14. Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network incidents
15. Manage and improve information security documentation as required.
16. Help analyze findings in investigative matters, and develop fact-based reports of events over a period
17. Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the group is constantly advancing.
18. Develop and mentor staff through open communication, training and development opportunities, performance management, and evaluation; build and maintain employee morale and motivation.
19. Timely and efficiently supervise the activities and tasks of the team/subordinates/direct reports and provide robust feedback and guidelines as and when required. Ensure capacity planning, team building, and effective execution of deliverables along with competitive, productive and position work culture.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Minimum Bachelors or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized local/ foreign university.
• Age: Upto 55 Years as of February 25, 2025.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of relevant experience.
