About the Client:

Duties:

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

  1. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  3. Costing & Budgeting: Manage budgeting processes, analyze cost structures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  4. Taxation: Handle all taxation matters, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Interact with regulators, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  6. Excel Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced Excel skills to prepare detailed balance sheets and financial statements.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of working in the banking sector, preferably in a senior finance role.
  • Extensive experience in accounting, costing, budgeting, reporting, and taxation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in handling regulatory matters.

Reporting Structure:

  • This position reports directly to the Group CFO and will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

  • This position is based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Senior Finance Executive

  1. Manage operations of the finance and admin departments, develop goals,objectives, and plan measures to achieve them
  2. Develop measures to optimize business financial health
  3. Participate in the preparation of the business budget that is adequate forthe organization’s needs
  4. Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization
  5. Liaison with tax advisors for tax matters
  6. Liaison with the auditors, corporate secretarial service providers, bankers,and payment processors for completing the compliance requirements
  7. Responsible for payments, tax deducted thereon, and accuracy of entries posted
  8. Undertake custom reporting requirements (such as consolidated reporting)and interpreting financial information for the management
  9. Review of accounting ledgers and preparation of monthly financial statements
  10. Financial Reporting and budgeting
  11. Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  12. Keep track of and comply with the regulatory compliance requirements.
  13. These requirements can range from the filing of schedules and statements to responding to the queries and demands raised by the government and regulations
  14. Maintaining an accurate & complete database for all requests, PR, POs,Invoices, and Payment Vouchers including approval.

Education: Master’s Degree in Finance/MBA/ACCA/ICMA-Partially Cleared
