We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making. While the primary focus will be on data analysis, having some foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Power Apps to support business decisions.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency across various sources.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
Data Integration & Processing:
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (APIs, structured/unstructured datasets).
- Support the implementation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data management.
- Assist in automating repetitive data-related tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
Data Governance & Quality:
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security in all analytical processes.
- Implement and follow best practices for data governance, compliance, and documentation.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with business units, data scientists, and engineers to provide data-driven insights.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for leadership teams.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in querying large datasets.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data processing.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and automation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift
