We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day HR activities. The HR Officer will play a crucial role in recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, and HR administration.HR Officer responsibilities will span across various HR activities, contributing to the overall success of the company's workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

1: Recruitment and On boarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth on boarding experience.

2: Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee queries and concerns, providing effective and timely resolutions.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives and addressing employee relations issues.

3: Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisal systems.
  • Work closely with managers to address performance issues and provide guidance on improvement strategies.

4: Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate training programs.
  • Support the development of employee skills through various learning and development initiatives.

5: HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.

6: Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the ERP.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics as required by the management.

7: Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other perks.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and address inquiries.

8: Exit Management:

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar HR role.
  3. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficient in ERP and MS Office suite.
  6. Certifications in HR management will be an added advantage.

HR Intern

The HR Intern will support daily HR operations by managing records, updating employee data on the ERP system, assisting with onboarding, training, and employee engagement activities. The incumbent will ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Post, update, and ascertain employment records, and obtain documentation from the employees
  2. Maintaining a database of individuals.
  3. Processing of documentation for records and background checks.
  4. Assisting in the onboarding procedures.
  5. Assisting in maintaining employee records on ERP.
  6. Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
  7. Sending reference check emails for newly hired employees and following up accordingly.
  8. Assisting in employee orientation.
  9. Assisting in Training and Development activities.
  10. Participate in organizing company events and careers days
  11. Assisting in day-to-day operations of the HR functions and responsibilities.
  12. Planning and execution of employee engagement events.
  13. Maintaining HR presence on different social media channels including LinkedIn etc.
  14. Any other duties assigned by HOD

Looking for a certified quality professional with an MBA+ / BSc in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC/PEC-recognized university having 8-10 years of experience in QA Operations and EHS activities of the packaging industry is a must.

This position ensures the implementation of customer-specified quality standards & safety practices in the assigned finishing unit; Gets conducts trial run reports of every new article; and Manages the trend analysis to identify potential nonconformances areas.

These activities are carried out with the objective of ensuring that there are no defected or nonconformance issues in production and meeting quality & EHS standard targets within the limits and guidelines of AQLs (Acceptable Quality Levels), customers-specified quality standards, and organizations' quality & EHS policy. 

  1. Must have sound knowledge of SQC tools, Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, lab testing equipment in the Printing & Packaging Industry, and customer technical audits.
  2. Good knowledge of safety practices & standards, quality assessment tools and practices (SQC, 5 whys's & RCA techniques, A3, Lean, Six Sigma etc)
  3. Sound knowledge of EHS Standards (such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, FSSC, FSC, SCLP), Safety equipment, job hazard assessment technique, Training module development, Risk assessment, Legal requirements in EHS, Internal audit procedures.
  4. Should be well versed in new product development, BOM Creation, understanding of customer needs, Color management & an eye for detail.
