We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day HR activities. The HR Officer will play a crucial role in recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, and HR administration.HR Officer responsibilities will span across various HR activities, contributing to the overall success of the company's workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

1: Recruitment and On boarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth on boarding experience.

2: Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee queries and concerns, providing effective and timely resolutions.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives and addressing employee relations issues.

3: Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisal systems.
  • Work closely with managers to address performance issues and provide guidance on improvement strategies.

4: Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate training programs.
  • Support the development of employee skills through various learning and development initiatives.

5: HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.

6: Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the ERP.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics as required by the management.

7: Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other perks.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and address inquiries.

8: Exit Management:

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar HR role.
  3. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficient in ERP and MS Office suite.
  6. Certifications in HR management will be an added advantage.

HR Intern

MicroMerger (Pvt.) Ltd.

The HR Intern will support daily HR operations by managing records, updating employee data on the ERP system, assisting with onboarding, training, and employee engagement activities. The incumbent will ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Post, update, and ascertain employment records, and obtain documentation from the employees
  2. Maintaining a database of individuals.
  3. Processing of documentation for records and background checks.
  4. Assisting in the onboarding procedures.
  5. Assisting in maintaining employee records on ERP.
  6. Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
  7. Sending reference check emails for newly hired employees and following up accordingly.
  8. Assisting in employee orientation.
  9. Assisting in Training and Development activities.
  10. Participate in organizing company events and careers days
  11. Assisting in day-to-day operations of the HR functions and responsibilities.
  12. Planning and execution of employee engagement events.
  13. Maintaining HR presence on different social media channels including LinkedIn etc.
  14. Any other duties assigned by HOD

Qualification & Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's in Business Administration (HR)

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our engineering organization. You will work closely with the CTO to translate the company’s long-term vision into actionable engineering policies, KPIs, and training initiatives. Your primary focus will be on building a high-performance engineering culture by establishing best practices, quality standards, and skill development frameworks. By driving operational excellence and continuous improvement, you will ensure that the engineering team is well-equipped to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

  • Collaborate with the CTO to define and drive the long-term engineering vision and roadmap.
  • Translate high-level business goals into engineering policies and strategic objectives.

Policy & KPI Development:

  • Establish and implement engineering policies, standards, and KPIs that ensure code quality, QA processes, and deployment excellence.
  • Set performance and quality metrics to continuously evaluate and improve engineering practices.

Team Enablement & Skills Enhancement:

  • Design and oversee training programs and mentorship initiatives to enhance team skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with leadership to ensure that every engineer’s performance aligns with the company’s vision and strategic goals.

Quality & Process Oversight:

  • Be accountable for the technical practices and methodologies that support robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
  • Implement best practices in development processes to minimize project churn caused by engineering shortcomings.

Resource & Recruitment Strategy:

  • Partner with Recruitment to forecast hiring needs based on quarterly and annual goals aligned with the CTO’s vision.
  • Develop strategies to build a high-performing, agile, and innovative engineering team.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Work with cross-functional leaders (Product, Sales, Client Success) to ensure that engineering standards and policies support broader business objectives.
  • Provide strategic input during technical demos and client engagements when necessary, ensuring that engineering quality remains at the forefront.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyze engineering performance metrics, using insights to refine policies, training, and processes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually evolve our engineering practices.

Required Skills:

Leadership & Strategic Thinking:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership with a proven track record of developing strategic initiatives and establishing operational frameworks.
  • Strong ability to set vision and drive change through policy, process, and performance management.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with open-source web technologies (e.g., Python, PHP, JavaScript, .NET) and agile development practices.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance, code quality standards, and scalable software architectures.

Process-Oriented Mindset:

  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining high standards for engineering practices and processes.
