Oracle WMS Consultant

As an Oracle WMS Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle WMS Cloud solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Oracle WMS modules will be essential in driving successful project outcomes and delivering value-added solutions tailored to our clients' warehouse management needs. This role requires a deep understanding of warehouse operations, strong technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle WMS Cloud applications, including but not limited to Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, and Warehouse Operations.
  2. Analyze clients' warehouse management requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Oracle WMS framework.
  3. Design and configure warehouse processes, workflows, and integrations to optimize efficiency and streamline operations.
  4. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and change management activities for warehouse staff and project stakeholders.
  5. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement services for Oracle WMS applications post-implementation.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse managers, IT professionals, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  7. Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and new features within the Oracle WMS ecosystem to continuously enhance service offerings and deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sceince, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle WMS Cloud solutions, with a focus on Inventory Management and Order Fulfillment modules.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle WMS Cloud offerings and experience with at least two full-cycle implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and distribution processes.
  • Experience working with clients in diverse industries, such as retail, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Oracle certifications in WMS modules are a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Oracle certifications in relevant development tools or technologies are a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Sales Enablement Partner: Empower the Sales team by providing technical expertise during demos and addressing potential clients' technical concerns, ultimately contributing to successful sales cycles.
  • Process Architect: Define and implement effective processes within the engineering team to streamline workflows, ensure consistent high-quality output, and achieve optimal results.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of technology adoption and project execution, enabling data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualities:

1 Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of working experience in architectural design of multiple large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available applications.
  • Masters Degree in the relevant field
  • Proven experience of successfully delivered solutions of Web, Mobile and Services
  • Proficient level English Written and Verbal Communication
  • Worked under best Agile practices in past organizations for at least 5 years
  • Project delivery experience in at least the following but not limited to:
  • Python
  • PHP
  • .NET
  • MERN

2 Ideal Haves:

  • Certifications in Cloud Infrastructures from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Services
