The Start of OGC: In 1957, Orient first showed up in Pakistan's trade business. Orient Colour Labs was the first business in the GROUP. It was a small business that did photo finishing and optics. But in just 40 years, it has grown into one of the biggest trading companies in Pakistan, selling well-known brands of consumer electronics, audio and video equipment, cell phones, and lighting products. The Group brings in all the well-known brands from the United States, Japan, Europe, Germany, and Italy. It also does business with big names in the consumer goods market like Sanyo, Yashica, Osram, Mitsubishi, and several Italian and German firms.
How Things Grew:
The company's founder, Mian Muhammad Fazal, was ready to take on the business world and make his dreams of growing the company come true. In 1975, an Import Division was created, and the company made a name for itself as a major force in the economic growth of the country by becoming known around the world. Orient turned into a private limited company in 1983 and set up a network of Mini Colour Labs all over the country. It was in 1985 that the Group started selling consumer goods and technology, and they got a lot of positive feedback. The M/S Oriental Enterprises was founded in 1988 when the goods market grew. The Group is made up of the following sub-companies right now:

2. Orient Business
3. Place Pictures
4. The Orient Electronic
