The Marketing Manager of Point of Sale (POS) leads a team of colleagues in the delivery of all POS requirements for our car terminal. Working with colleagues across multiple business areas the POS manager, leads their team to the highest level to ensure that all car terminal, campaign and event activity is activated.

POS marketing relates to a type of in-store promotion or marketing campaign, designed to increase the number of purchases at the point of sale.

We have an exciting opportunity based at our UK Campaign to join our POS team as Dealer Campaign Manager. The successful candidate for this role will develop and implement our dealer sales marketing, in a way that reflects and builds upon our national communications and marketing activity.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

  1. Develop a strategy for all dealership marketing, which supports the marketing strategies. To communicate this within the organization, and the dealers through written communications and verbal presentations as agreed.
  2. Lead the planning, development and delivery of marketing activity, across all relevant channels to drive customer enquiries/engagement for new car sales, used cars, finance products and aftersales requirements in support of business targets. This could include but not be constrained to:
  3. Quarterly campaigns
  4. Production of campaign templates
  5. Digital materials (eDMs, DR banners & SoMe ads)
  6. Point of sale materials
  7. CRM activities Mailers – National and Dealer
  8. Events

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Must be able to transcribe 65-70 minutes of audio/video in a working day
  2. Transcribing the Audio/Video files in Text format.
  3. Making sure the accuracy of the source file is maintained throughout the text transcript.
  4. Transcribing English Audio Files into Text based on the type of transcript required and understanding all modes of transcription for example:

o   Strict Verbatim Transcription

  • Undergoing training to stay up to date with the latest transcribing trends and methods.

  • Completing and submitting the files within the allocated time per file.
  • Have translated at least 20,000 words in a professional context.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. When not conducting Audio Transcription work, the candidate will be required to carry out the following additional tasks and responsibilities:
  2. Recruiting and onboarding Translators (Various skills i.e., Written Translation, Voiceover, Transcribers etc.).
  3. Recruiting and onboarding Vendors (Vendors are other Translating Agencies, registering them in our database).
  4. Conduct translation of documents from English to Urdu and Urdu to English.
  5. Carry out Interpreting work as and when required.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Firm grasp on the fundamentals of transcription and its various types.
  • Knowledge of the different types of Transcription Services such as: Strict Verbatim Transcription, Intelligent Verbatim Transcription, Edited Transcription, Phonetic Transcription and Discourse Analysis.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thoroughly & understand the British accent i.e., Scottish and Welsh Accents.

Time management skills.

  1. Having ample knowledge of the workings of Audio / Video Transcription software i.e. Otter AI
  2. Ability to cope with large volumes of work.
  3. Transcribers have above-average typing skills, so between 60 and 80 words per minute typing speed is preferred.
  4. Ability to transcribe an hour of audio in two to three hours, accurately.
  5. Experience in Translating Documents from Urdu into English and vice versa.
  6. Candidates with Urdu typing expertise will be preferred.
  7. Dedication, reliability and confidentiality.

Strategic Client Management:

  1. Lead and oversee the client experience across a 24 x 7 x always operations delivery for multiple clients.
