Rozee is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI / ML Engineer with over five years of experience to join our innovative team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end machine learning solutions that empower our organization to leverage large-scale datasets for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong programming skills in Python and a solid foundation in data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML). As a Senior AI / ML Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our company's AI initiatives, utilizing advanced technologies and frameworks to deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement comprehensive machine learning solutions for processing and analyzing large datasets efficiently.
  2. Construct robust data pipelines that facilitate the high-volume ingestion, transformation, and storage of data, ensuring seamless data flow throughout the organization.
  3. Develop advanced reporting systems and interactive dashboards powered by AI, delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  4. Create, deploy, and fine-tune custom AI/ML models tailored specifically to meet the requirements of our business, including large language models and generative AI solutions.
  5. Utilize advanced frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face to implement and optimize large language models effectively.
  6. Establish systems to automate data-driven decision-making processes by leveraging predictive analytics and recommendation engines to bolster business intelligence.
  7. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI/ML models operating within production environments to ensure high performance and reliability.
  8. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to explore and identify opportunities for enhancing our analytics and reporting capabilities through AI techniques.
  9. Ensure scalability, security, and reliability in the management and processing of vast datasets across the organization.
  10. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all data workflows, AI systems, and reporting instruments to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
  11. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML, applying best practices to continuously elevate the organizations capabilities.

Head of Engineering

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our engineering organization. You will work closely with the CTO to translate the company’s long-term vision into actionable engineering policies, KPIs, and training initiatives. Your primary focus will be on building a high-performance engineering culture by establishing best practices, quality standards, and skill development frameworks. By driving operational excellence and continuous improvement, you will ensure that the engineering team is well-equipped to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

  • Collaborate with the CTO to define and drive the long-term engineering vision and roadmap.
  • Translate high-level business goals into engineering policies and strategic objectives.

Policy & KPI Development:

  • Establish and implement engineering policies, standards, and KPIs that ensure code quality, QA processes, and deployment excellence.
  • Set performance and quality metrics to continuously evaluate and improve engineering practices.

Team Enablement & Skills Enhancement:

  • Design and oversee training programs and mentorship initiatives to enhance team skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with leadership to ensure that every engineer’s performance aligns with the company’s vision and strategic goals.

Quality & Process Oversight:

  • Be accountable for the technical practices and methodologies that support robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
  • Implement best practices in development processes to minimize project churn caused by engineering shortcomings.

Resource & Recruitment Strategy:

  • Partner with Recruitment to forecast hiring needs based on quarterly and annual goals aligned with the CTO’s vision.
  • Develop strategies to build a high-performing, agile, and innovative engineering team.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Work with cross-functional leaders (Product, Sales, Client Success) to ensure that engineering standards and policies support broader business objectives.
  • Provide strategic input during technical demos and client engagements when necessary, ensuring that engineering quality remains at the forefront.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyze engineering performance metrics, using insights to refine policies, training, and processes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually evolve our engineering practices.

Required Skills:

Leadership & Strategic Thinking:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership with a proven track record of developing strategic initiatives and establishing operational frameworks.
  • Strong ability to set vision and drive change through policy, process, and performance management.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with open-source web technologies (e.g., Python, PHP, JavaScript, .NET) and agile development practices.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance, code quality standards, and scalable software architectures.

Process-Oriented Mindset:

  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining high standards for engineering practices and processes.
  • Ability to design and implement effective KPIs and performance metrics for large engineering teams.
